Candle Care Guide

Learn how to maintain your candles for lasting enjoyment.

1) Trim your wick! Before each burn, it's important to trim your wick to 1/8 inch to 3/16 inch to prevent the flame from becoming too large or unsafe.

2) Let it burn! Allow the candle to burn for 3-4 hours to create a memory for future burns.

3) Stay safe! Always keep candles away from flammable items, drafts, children, and pets.

4) Know when to call it quits. When your candle burns down to 1/2 inch from the bottom of the vessel, it's time to extinguish it to prevent overheating, brittleness, and cracking.

Always remember that the flame of a candle draws the melted wax up through the wick, which is why it's important to keep the wick trimmed and clean. The wood does not fuel the flame, only wax does.
